La presentaci\u00f3n en placas de 1 x 6 x 12 facilita la adici\u00f3n y disoluci\u00f3n en la fusi\u00f3n. El cromo funciona principalmente anclando los l\u00edmites de subgrano mediante la formaci\u00f3n de dispersoides de Al12Mg2Cr que impiden el movimiento de l\u00edmites de grano durante el procesamiento termomec\u00e1nico.
